REX-13: 978-0882681/283 “Dolorosamente” is a collection that uses mourning as its central element, around which various sub‑themes orbit, tied together primarily through silhouettes and materials.

Each look or element in this project relates to the theme of mourning in a distinct way—decorum, black, repetition, repression, rigor, pain, and so on. The intention is to connect the designs to the concept in an allegorical rather than overt manner. All the looks aim to highlight a motif, element, or theme associated with the interpretation of grief in the West, specifically in Spain.
